Tips and Tricks:

1. I like to add dimension to pieces by adding layers to scenes. This can be tricky but with a little planning and extra support the results are awesome! When adding layers to mosaic designs make sure and add a connector to provide stability to pieces. In the ear I pushed a short nail through the substrate before adding glass then after everything was grouted I added epoxy on the bottom around nail and pushed it through the head and into the main substrate. I had originally left space that was only covered with grout to ensure I did not run into any glass.
